Anne Farrall Doyle

Anne Farrall Doyle has always been fascinated by movement and has devoted her painting career to capturing it on canvas. Most of her work is figurative, people dancing, playing music, playing football, racing horses, and above all hurling.

"I saw my first game of hurling at the age of 10yrs, when I went with my father to Croke Park. It felt 'different' to anything I'd experienced before - the day seemed to stand still in time, misty, yet supreme moments of impossible skill and bravery were so crystal clear... I feel that magic still.

I have hand numerous hurling exhibitions in both Kilkenny & Tipperary, my work is now in Queens University Belfast, and corporate business and council offices in both counties. I am captivated by the poetry, grit and legends of a moment and my work covers many sporting events."

Anne has held number of exhibitions and commissions of sporting and hurling in the South East of the country. She also obtained a commission of two-piece for the Royal Ascot Club of horses in motion. Her reputation has been growing steadily and she receives many commissions.
