Lyn Kramer
Lynn Kramer was born in London in 1942. She studied at Bournemouth College of Art, and at Goldsmith's College, London, specialising in Sculpture; later she trained in bronze casting and moulding techniques.Her first job as a modeller was with the famous taxidermy firm of Rowland Ward. In 1969 she joined the staff of Madame Tussaud's. Her work there included the portraits of Agatha Christie, Richard Nixon and Leonid Brezhnev.
Latterly she has worked mainly in bronze on major figures in the World of Art and Literature, including Seamus Heaney, Samuel Beckett, Benedict Kiely and Derek Mahon.
