Petr Holecek
Petr Holecek was born in Benesov, Czech Republic in 1976. He now currently resides in Dublin. Petr studied Pedagogical specializing in Art and Civic Education in the Ceske Budejovice University from 1996-2001. Petr also undertook a drawing course in 2003 in the National Gallery of Ireland. Petr worked for a long time as an art assistant to Patrick O'Reilly in Dublin. Peter would comment that he owes a lot to Patrick "Thanks to him I have started to think more seriously about my artwork and also learned many things about bronze casting and wax modelling."
