Paddy Howell

Paddy Howell is a native of Limerick who started to work on bogwood in 1987.

He runs the "Recreation Workshops" School in Esker in Athenry. The school hosts 5 bog wood workshops per annum in addition to other classes on woodcarving, stone carving, personality development, creative writing and dream workshops.

He has participated in a number of exhibitions including the major 'Giusach' (meaning bog wood) exhibition in An Damhlann in October 1997 in which 24 bog wood sculptors from all over Ireland took part.
