Denise Ryan

Denise Ryan is a full time artist and lives and works in Co. Clare. She studied painting at the Limerick School of Art, has had four one-person shows and has exhibited regularly in group and invited shows and selected exhibitions, including the RHA.

She has participated in numerous two- and four-man shows.

'The subjects of my paintings are Bishopsquarter, Fanore and the Flaggy Shore. The challenge has been to paint these familiar places as they are transformed by light, and to capture the sense of time, of season and weather conditions.'
