Patricia Ryan

Patricia Ryan, a native of Limerick grew up in Dublin, moved to Galway in 1976. She studied at Grafton Academy of Dress Design, Dublin, worked as a designer/pattern maker.

She has painted in a number of mediums including watercolours and pen & ink, and exhibited widely with several Art Clubs.

She is a member of Irish Patchwork Society, creating traditional patchwork quilts and fibre art. Patricia has attended workshops in fabric painting, experimental embroidery and silk painting with Noel Dyrenforth in London.

Nature and landscape are her main sources of inspiration.
